Okay Running DDR 333 (2 sticks of 512 MB) ram at 2-2-2-6 timings (I DON'T have the money to beable to afford to change it),
with a Abit IC7 mobo, a 2.8C, SLK-900U w/smartfan 2 (if I can find it I'll look for the sp-94)
Now The price diffrence between the 2.8c and 2.6c is like 50 bucks canadian.
My goal is JUST to have it running at 3500mhz STABLE and Reliable. I was going to do the 3.0C but since I have to run the divider at 3:2 the 2.8c is the better and would be faster at 3.5 ghz. The store I shop at should have the M0 steppings in when I am ready to purchase 2-3 weeks from now.
So is this setup good? DON'T suggest I buy new ram, YES I have the money, but I'd rather go make my car faster, house nicer, get new weights, dvds etc... than my computer 2-5% faster in some applications...as you can tell I don't wish to spend anymore money...if I HAD to go out and buy DDR400 ram, I'd much rather sink it into a Athlon 64 3200+ for the same price and keep my current ram.
