GO USA AND UK!!

StageLeft

Watching the Iraqis riding Saddamns head through the streets yesterday I felt good that I had supported this effort early on. I, like many Canadians (though not most unfortunately) think that Canada should have played a part. Recent blurb about Chretien. And of course France is rejoicing over the fall of Saddamn. Well a-holes, if not for the US, UK, and 40+ other countries Iraqis would still be getting walked all over by this disgusting man.

Coalition casualties have been relatively few considering the scope of this. The same goes for civilian casualties. No, the war isn't over, but "nah nah nah nah nah told you so!". 😛

Let's not forget the Austrailians🙂

CNN's Stephanie Halasz in Berlin said: "The overwhelming feeling among Germans was one of skepticism.

"How is the future of Iraq going to square up? Are the Iraqis capable of forming a democracy? And there is concern about those Iraqis who have died or who are injured."
What? What makes them think that they (the Germans) are capable of it and not the Iraqi's? Talk about your Racial/Nationalistic Arrogance

Or Poles! Their 200 Special Forces were a statement to the rest of Europe: We will help with action, even if we can't afford to give you alot.

Hahaha I seriously doubt that🙂 The Germans have always been arrogant (The Majority of Central and Western Europeans are descendants of Germanic Tribes)

The Germans have always been arrogant.........

Perhaps the root of my personality? Damn not only is breeding the cause of my arrogance, but in addition I've got that whole American arrogance heaped on top for good measure.

I must be an insufferable ass. 😉

I never noticed because I was too busy being a self absorbed insufferable ass myself🙂

Well Chirac is endorsing the downfall of Saddam now so I'm sure we can all sleep better tonight. 😉 I keep coming back to that Patton quote as the perfect statement on what a lot of people feel toward France right now:

"I'd rather have a German division in front of me than a French one behind me."

There's still probably going to be a lot of mop up work left. And then they'll get down to the hard part of trying to setup some semblance of a democratic government. It'll be interesting to see whether or not it can work out.
