Nope, made it up all by my little old self. Well I did have some help from the painkillers......hmmmm....maybe I should submit a script to Fox.....couldn't be any worse than some of the more recent Simpsons episodes.

After they got the playoff jitters out of system they started playing like they did all season. They were swinging the bats well and finished up solid. That was determination, not luck.

Coming back from being down 5 to 1 is not luck. The Twins have been doing it all season.

Time to bust out the old Homer Hanky! I went to two games in the '91 Series - it would be an overwhelming treat to see them go back (not that I am assuming that - they are obviously underdogs). It serves that prick Bud Selig right - his Brewers really had quite a season compared to the nearly-contracted Twins.

I really would try to get back, but I have a beast of a trial set for 29 October. I would actually have liked to see the choke-happy Mariners sneak into the playoffs just on the off chance that they would end up paired against the Twins. I actually like the Yankees (Dad lives in NY and I have gone to many games at Yankees Stadium), but I have to pull for the small-payroll Twins and As to the end.

I personally think the twins did a great job lastnight after the 3rd inning. None of what they did after that had to do
with luck, but talent.
