go to Chicago for the weekend or not?

I'm here for work training and a lot of the people are going to chicago for the weekend.
I lived in NYC so all the big building or riding the subway aka "city life" doesn't really excite me. I think they're eating at some steakhouse and going to a bar. Is sightseeing in chicago worthwhile and the cost if I've lived in manhattan?

i would probably go, but only because i take every opportunity i get to go somewhere new.

eat deep dish pizza (NYC still wins though)

cta train is kinda odd...riding a train in the middle of highway.
