the old man is going for a 50'' DLP..he's on his way out and will probably purchase it tonight

For $2400. He can get in cheap elsewhere but is going for the warrenty and the no interest plan they have. He's basically overpaying by like $100 bones, so he's fine with it.

I've looekd it up and it looks great. AVS forum seems to very happy with it minus the smudge fiasco. The resolution and black levels are sufficient.

I was ragging on it last time because the 1080i signal that was being pumped through it was pretty bad and it looked much better on comparable LCDS. That said, 720p is what we are after.

What's really ncie is the DVI and HDMI combo😀

..get it at costco for the best return policy in the US. They always seem to have many diff.DLP/LCD's in stock at better then average prices.
