I was surprised by how subpar some of the creature effects were, but other than that it captures the Doom feel almost exactly. Good times.

I really liked it. Nostalgia was awesome, especially the first time the BFG is fired and when the movie goes into first-person mode :D

and i did enjoy the movie myself. i give it 4/5. i recommend it myself, but that has already been discussed in the other million doom threads.

you mean the picky people who nitpick at every single part of a movie, over analyzing every single movie, going into a movie based on a video game expecting to see an oscar award winning movie, who probably only enjoy 5% of the total movies they watch?

if thats what you mean by everyone else, then yea, everyone else did.

Boy, some of you people are so anal about 'thread redundancy' you would like Anand himself is sending the forum users bills for every byte of wasted server space. Thanks to those of you who stood up for free speech, redundant or not.

Anyway, the first-person mode was neat however some of the zombie make-up & Imps looked actually pretty bad.

I also really enjoy the plot-twist involving Sarge.....

I'll pass thanks. Never really played much Doom plus something about "The Rock" really annoys me.

havn't seen it yet, heard one of the main things was changed from the original game but sounded like it didn't hurt the movie none. When I see it I plan to see an action movie.
