Dammit, I was going by what it said on the Nintendo Metroid site, but all the retailers say the 19th on their sites. :| Maybe I'll try Walmart at midnight.

dont bother. wal-mart doesnt get their games in the same way they do DVD releases. it won't be there until the day it is released, it'll come in UPS direct, it isn't sitting in the back waiting to be released like movies. the walmart i work at usually gets the games early in the day, sometime between 11-2.

i assume this is how all walmarts work.. maybe amdskip can comment too, but the store I work at, only DVD releases are waiting there at midnight.

it shouldnt be too hard to nab a copy,tho ive noticed eb usually only has enough of a high demand game to fullfill preorders, at least with initial shipments.

You may have to go on a mission,try walmart,bestbuy,circuit city etc.etc.theres a good chance you will find a copy.



im wondering if ill have to fork over for a new mem card today,my current one is pretty much full with saves i dont want to erase.

Kinda off topic but I went to PU Metroid Prime today but Walmart didnt have it. I was puttering around dissapointed then I saw a broadband adapter. I thought about buying it but then I realized the only game I could get currently is PSO. Anybody know of any other games that will support the BBA, preferably FPS? Also, anyone know what the network will be like, like PS2 or Xbox. I hope its SOCOM style, you buy the game you can play online free. Dont wanna pay subscriptions like Xbox.

From what I understand, it's on a developer by developer basis. Phantasy Star will require a subscription fee like the dreamcast version (v2). You get a month free when buying it.

if you have an X-box you get the first year free i believe so no fees for at least that long

I dont have an X-box but if XBL is as good as everyone says i might have to try it
