I came across this site: www.go-l.com while looking for laptops. Seems a little pricey, but seems like a decent alternative to Alienware. Wondering if anybody has heard anything good about them?

Thx,

Sung

Last I looked, they use Clevo ODM notebooks, which you will also find at Sager, Eurocom, Hyperonic and Voodoo. There have been some reports of bad quality, but not so much out of the norm from the others, though probably a tad more than the later three. But some of it probably has to do with name recognition.

I have a friend of mine who bought a Hollywood Silver from the go-l website. He received calls every few days to let him know how his product was coming along, since they are all "built-to-order". In the end, he was very satisfied with the product, considering it well worth the money.

If he had to do business with them again, he said the customer service definitely convinced him.
