Its more or less legit. Maximum PC got one of teh their PC's and tested it and said everything was legit although i think one or two things wasn't completely up to par.

your poll sucks.
Well its simple as it can get.

When I posted that it only had one option, and it was for "real".

Thats not my fault. You know when you make a poll you have to make one at a time.. theres your answer. I put them both in and press edit at the same time.

Their laptops are most assuredly real. I've yet to see anyone test their other products (desktops, multidisplays). The laptops are nothing special.

05-19-2004 - announces the end of an era. The end on computer rebooting is finally here. Welcome to Instant-On Technology. With Instant-On? computers can now turn on, off and and load a full Windows session in less than one second and in some cases as fast as 1/8th of a second. Instant-On? takes advantage of no latency/ extremely high- I/Os request performance of nonvolatile and non-mechanical PuRam Solid State Disk Drives and recent advances in both high-bandwidth hardware architectures and memory technologies, in the very same manner that a PDA or a PocketPC device wake-up from an Off state.

Can't be real. That sounds too good!

June 2004 Maximum PC mentions them on page 13:

Have you bought a PC from L Computers?
For that matter, has anyone?

We featured L Computers in our January 2004 cover for the company's audacious approach to high-end PC design, even though we were skeptical about some of the hyped technologies that were MIA in our test unit.

Now we're even more skeptical. Despite announcements of even faster computers and retail partnerships "soon," Maximum PC has been unable to locate a single person who's purchased a computer from go-l.com. If you have -or if you've tried- we'd like to talk to you. E-mail us at input@maximumpc.com
