Am I in the twilight zone? Are the Kings playing tonight? Jazz kicked there butts on their home court yesterday, and only lost by 3 points in the fiirst game. This being the top seeded team in the western division. Kings will go down in the next two in SLC.

forget the Kings. Divac shot his wad in the first and embarassed the team in the second. Kings want a battle royal, then they will get one in Salt Lake City.:)

Kings is all offense, the only defensive oriented player they have is Doug Christie.
If we are comparing offensive oriented teams, the Mavs are a better, they have alot more weapons than Kings do.
Lakers will probably beat Portland in 4 games. They better have the Kobe Stopper work extra hard in this series.

There should be a law against naming sport teams playing at the same time with the same name. The only Kings playing in sports as far as I'm concerned is the Sac .Kings BBall team, number 1 seed in the western conference who lost last night to the old and weathered Utah Jazz. The Russian Czar and the Mailman Malone will spank Divac AND Christie on Saturday afternoon in Salt Lake City. John Stockton will see to that.:D

Nice to see them gut one out. I didn't get to watch the game because I'm at work. 1-0 in overtime is impressive. I like that there's a rivalry between the two teams now.
Must win game at Staples to send it to game 7 again.

You wouldnt be so sure if you actually saw the overtime goal... it was basically kicked in... I have no idea why the officials ruled it a goal... You can clearly see on the replay it was kicked in...

There is a difference between kicking the puck in and having it deflect off of your skate.

What a referee is looking for in a situation like that is whether the player intentionally makes a kicking motion with his skate to guide it towards the net. Last night, Johnson was trying to play the puck with his stick. He didn't kick the puck intentionally.

similar to the recent game (i forgot which) where one of the players intentionally kicked it into the goal to end their scoring drought but was later reviewed and said that he intentionally kicked it in (which was very obvious)

btw...KINGS WIN! KINGS WIN!

If LA beats colorado I look like a genius in my hovkey pool, I got Palffy and Allison and 0 Colorado players :D. I got both Palffy and Allison in the late rounds figuring they'd be good for a few points in the first round :D:D

In addition, everyone else in the pool took the Sakics, Roys, Forsbergs etc...
