Slow in, fast out. Brake before the turn, then hit the apex and gradually get on the gas

come in high, brake late (right before turn), dive into the corner, and nail it coming back out?

Use the star, and hop around the turns with the top right button.

be sure to pull left-right as you slide. the only way you will win against good drivers is if you are able to pull off a Red E

Yeah, I lose at go-karting, unless I'm going against a woman and simply outdrive them.

i am too large for go karts. they dont have the power to get up and stay at speed with me in them. and i only weigh 275.

You know how you get faster after the first lap or two? You need to suppress your body's senses and learn the limits of the machine. A go kart's center of gravity is so low that the huge relative distance to your head, where the conflicting input is coming from, tells you to slow down way more than is truly necessary when making a turn. Try hunching down and tucking your head while keeping revs up throughout the corner.

?? just take the turn as close to the curve as possible while turning the least... I think those things have a max speed so there's no need for ever taking your foot off the pedal if you want a good time

start wide and cut in to reduce g's, allowing more speed while being under control. Anticipation is key.

Experience talking: You can go a lot faster in the turns than you think. Brake late, accelerate early and though the entire corner if possible. Your foot should be on the gas or brake at all times, no exceptions.

this is what i did , keep the gas floored ALL the time
use the brakes to get around the corners without crashing, but keep the gas on at the same time as braking

it isn't like you can flip it

Overly agressive is the most likely suspect.

You start banging into people and become a safety hazard, out you go.

Jump into the turn then hit the control stick Left -> Right a few times until blue fire is coming out from your wheels, then when you come out of the turn, release the control stick and you will get a boost of speed.

Same reason why I am no longer allowed at the annual Orange County Orgy Festival. :(

No way man, everyone knows that the fat characters have terrible acceleration but killer top speeds. Just hit the turns right and get all the powerups.
