South Carolina up 14 points on Michigan in the NIT final after destroying Louisville in the semi.

WOOHOO They are the 66th best team in the nation if they win. Real special winning the NIT two years in a row. Hope they have fun recruiting with that fact. "Yeah we have won the NIT two years in a row. That means we didn't improve at all after winning it the first time"

Yeah I went to Clemson :p

At least we can still beat ya in football year and year out :)

Congratulations to the Tigers on their brilliant basketball season this year. And good luck keeping that football advantage going. Bowden won't keep Spurrier down for long.

Funny, considering the gamecocks have been saying that for YEARS. I remember them saying Holtz would turn it around. It never happened. SCU is the graveyard for coaches and Spurrier will find that out soon enough. You know Spurrier did so well this past year. Just take a look, he did NO better than Lou did his last year.

Oh btw, at least Clemson didn't lose to SCU in Basketball this year either....

Every single mens sport matchup? Try again. Had South Carolina beat the Gators basketball team in the SEC tournament final, this thread would never have existed because they would be in the NCAA tournament not the NIT tournament. UF got their revenge.

Dave Odom is cash money in the NIT. This is his 3rd NIT championship in 10 years.

The NIT champion is NOT the 66th best team. Please don't try to tell me that some of you actually think that the 16 seeds > South Carolina.

No but it sure is fun to say :)

Everyone knows that the NCAA tourny is not about picking the 65 best teams. It is about picking the 65 best seasons.

In an ideal world where teams are ranked accurately, they should be the 66th best, conference champions being the only possible exception.

I'm guessing they'd be low 50s?

Here's a fun idea: The NIT winner should get a guaranteed Big Dance berth for the following year.

Or an even more fun idea: The NIT winner should play the NCAA winner next week and the winner of that game can be crowned Champion of the Universe

Yes go Gamecocks!

BTW:
How do you compliment a Clemson fan? You say nice tooth.

And one more:
Whats the difference between a catfish and a Clemson cheerleader?
One is slimey, stinks, and has whiskers, and the other is a fish.
