Go back a page in Firefox with the left-click on my scroll wheel?

I've got a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 and the scroll wheel on this mouse has the ability to not only scroll up and down with the wheel, but also has the ability to click down, click left, and click right.

When I use Firefox under FreeBSD, by default the left and right click on the scroll wheel moves back and forward in your webpage history.

When I use Firefox in Windows 7, the left-click on the scroll wheel is set to use "horizontal scrolling" and you can set the sensitivity of this scrolling in the mouse properties control panel. There's no way (that I can see) to configure the action that is triggered by the left and right clicks on the scroll wheel (IE, I'd like to change from horizontal scrolling to navigating browser history).

Any ideas on how to replicate the feature I'm seeing under FreeBSD?

(Note that I have installed the Microsoft Intellipoint software and the mouse is correctly identified as far as I can tell.)
