My shares in MCD are up over 15% in the past 10 days. Up over 9% today alone.

Not every aspect of the economy needs to be on the uprise for a sustained market rally. Companies are running rather lean now and once profits start rising, hiring will increase along w/further investment.
Good point. Additionally, multinational corporations such as PG, KO, MCD, GE, JPM, CL, GM, F, etc. are/will be experiencing increased profits due to a weaker dollar in Europe. I saw this coming and posted it in another thread.
