Simply amazing. Especially the first half. It never gets old to me, especially as summer driving music.

Now if you were to compare the darkness to any other glam rock band then yes but you cannot say G'n'R are glam rock. At the time they were the greatest rock band around, obviously things change with time.

crap i had all there stuff years ago but haven't heard any of it for like 7-8 years i think. i think i liked UYI 1. don't think i liked lies,lies,lies but don't remember.

It's definitely up there. I couldn't rank any album the 'best ever' though, it becomes too much like an apples & oranges scenario.
