Theres a few hundred of these gnats flying around my kitchen , swarming around the sink with a bunch of unwashed dishes...

How do dispose of this properly? I am offically living alone next year, roommates too sloppy.

Put away ALL food, clean your dishes and put them away, empty the trash, and dry off counters and the sink. Also don't leave food sitting out anywhere in the house, and stop the drains if possible.

Keep it like that for 2-3 days and they'll be long gone.

i had that problem. i bought a bottle of raid and sprayed the whole kitchen down. of course, i wasnt about to eat off the dishes after THAT so i just threw them away and used paper plates.

Those aren't gnat, they're fruit flies! They're a PIA to get rid of. We battle them all the time when my wonderful 13 yr old "forgets" to do dishes after 2 days. Get the RAID flying insect spray out after getting all the dishes washed and put away.

on techtv last week sometime, i believe it was during the screensavers show, they featured a program that claimed to produce
subsonic signals that were designed to repell various insect pests.

that program failed but i was wondering if you dudes and dudettes had ever heard or come upon a proggie of that kind which
works ? you figure with so many electronic repellents there must be a piece of computer software that performs the same duty.

it would be damn useful. :D
