I cannot believe I actually watched the whole thing. I can't imagine the pain an absess this large must've put this person thru, but as best I can tell this all looks to have come about from use of a local-type steroid to enlarge a muscle locally (and yet with no gains in strength ta' boot a la "synthol") and some type of an infection ensued.

It was just a substance injected under the skin to look buff, but doesn't have hormones or anything in it. More like a botox than anything I imagine.

If you ever saw the docu on TLC about the guy "whose arms exploded" (or something like that) it's the same stuff...though I believe he used traditional roids too.

But evidently this guy got a little more than he bargained for, eh??

Synthol has absolutely nothing to do with anabolic steroids. That's like posting pictures of a meth head and saying "look what marijuana did to this guy".

I was a surgical tech/assistant for several years. Saw lots of really good abscesses, including some that rocketed out like a geyser there was so much pressure behind the pus. This one was pretty good. I give it 7 out of 10 stars.

What you are all missing is the stench. The best are rectal or gangrenous abscesses, or heavily decomposed bodies/flesh. The stench sticks in your nostrils and nasal passages for hours.

He thought it made him look buff, and given the nature of what he injected I guess he thought it was just doing it's job. Sounds stupid until you consider how stupid one would have to be to pump that shit into your arms as opposed to finding a decent tree branch for a few pull ups a day (if need be).
