I really like that song "Crazy" but the album is pretty retarded

i only gave it one listen, but most of the songs are goofy to say the least

thoughts?

there's some filler songs, but overall it's pretty good/interesting/most importantly creative. As far as I know...there havent' been many albums like this soul/hip-hop, at least...none as popular as good. This cd will no doubt change *things*

just a thought is an excellent song.

I think there are some great songs on there, but it's totally mis-classified. I have no idea what it's doing as Modern Rock, but then again, I don't know where exactly to place it. I do like it, though.

I liked that 'crazy' song for the first 30 seconds or so. I thought it was gonna be some kinda housey funky electronica, but the chorus is just pop crap, then they repeat the same thing again without even doing anything interesting with the beat. bleh.

That one song ("Crazy") has a SICK video with it...that's the only reason I liked it I guess. But yeah, aren't they just that Blur/Gorillaz guy and DJ Danger Mouse?

I thought the beat is great. Makes great use of samples, etc. There's a remix playing on Canadian radio with Kardinal. It's OK.

However the only other song I liked on the album was "Just a Thought".

Agreed, "Crazy" is good but the rest of that album is meh. I paid $.99 to download his one good song on iTunes but I wouldn't pay for any of the other songs he put out because they suck.

I've actually been a fan of Cee-Lo for a long time. I'm from the south, so I guess I dig his style moreso. I love his sense of style and soul. Some of his songs are very "bluesy".

When I heard "gnarls Barkley" on the radio I thought "I really like this cat, but he sounds like Cee-lo, too bad Cee-lo never went in this direction.".

Much to my surprise I found they were one and the same, which led me to figure most would not like "Gnarls Barkley" because most people aren't "into" Cee-Lo....but oh well, I guess he's the flavor of the month now.

Props to the man for a serious reinvention of himself.

I agree. IT's horrible. The songs are average, sound rehashed, basically how outkast would sound, coming out of my colon.

Ditto, I liked his last solo album a lot...

Different strokes for different folks.

I thought it was hot, I really dig the extreme soul influence. Something different is always nice.

Danger Mouse did produce Demon Days by the Gorillaz, but the singer is Cee-Lo from Goodie Mob.
