Gmail's 'Sent Mail' folder does not sync well with Outlook's 'Sent Items' folder

I have Gmail set up as imap. The inbox folder syncs fine but not the sync folder. Some email are almost always missing. For example, when I compose an email via the browser, there is a chance it won't show up in the sent folder in Outlook. However, it'll show up in the Gmail subfolder. I need them to sync correctly because I like to archive all my email periodically. Is there anyway to resolve this?

no idea but at work we use Outlook + Google Apps + Google Apps Sync for emails, calendering and contacts. The only time I've seen email not synced is if you use apps sync and set your inbox limit is set to 1GB and it doesn't index the older emails, which doesn't sound like your problem.

You can try the google groups, you can't be the only one with a sync issue.

Can you show the way?
