Gmail's new "AutoSave" feature. How many of you have it?????????

Any ideas as to why I have it & he doesn't???

In case you're not familiar, the Auto Save works just like in MS Word or any other text program. Something goes wrong, no sweat, whatever you were typing is automatically saved.

I went to boast bout how much better gmail just got for him & noticed his logon doesn't show "Auto Save" in the top right corner of his browser. (It's in bold-red in mine, so certainly no missing it, that's for sure!!!)

That's what I don't get. And, since it's on THEIR server, it should have nothing to do with him logging on from a different computer, so I'm kinda clueless about that one.

Kinda' like my late night PC prob last night........but that's a whole -nother Oprah.

????????

Huh. I have two gmail accounts, one about a year old and one that is only about a month old. Neither has this. I don't really care, because I use POP3 for both, but it is odd.

Well, you don't have to click it. It's just automatically saving for you.

(If you pay attention, you can see it auto-save while you're typing).

I just can't figure out why/how some have it & some don't. Seems weird to me.

I had it 20min ago.

Now I don't have it!

Maybe it's a capacity thing, they can only handle so many accounts with autosave at once.
