try pure messenger widget. it's not free though
Honeycomb has it, but of course it was made with the assumption you'd have lots of screen space. On a phone its a little more complicated. I should think you'd need one whole desktop just to make it useful.
the other "pure" widgets i've used from the same developer have been very customizable in terms of appearance - I run all of them in a "transparent" mode.
Needs to have launcher pro to have scrollable message list.
that's going to be true for any widget to be scrollable...it will require launcher pro or adw. both are free though.
i too would love to see the honeycomb gmail widget ported to gingerbread
I have a sense phone so I have a few scrollable widgets already.
I don't want to run sense and launcher pro (if that is possible), and I'm not scrapping sense.
ahhh got it. Unfortunately the sense launcher isn't compatible with 3rd party scrollable widgets, which sucks. and the sense widgets aren't compatible with 3rd party launchers
htc should provide an sdk for sense widgets
