gmail sucks

I've never used a slower piece of crap system in my life. I know it's in beta, but I expected at least better performance from the great almighty google.

i know what you mean. hotmail puts up those "server to busy" errors SO MUCH FASTER

When it isn't slow, which is more often than not, it's the best web mail around, period.

no, i expected to be able to actually send a message without having to click the send button 7 times.

Not only is it slow, but it organizes you email stupidly into these "Conversations". I think that's my biggest problem with it.

It might be location dependent b/c I have yet to have a problem.

It's sometimes slow when logging in for me. That is the only time.

I like gmail and have switched over to it for my main account.

I love the conversations organizational technique.

But if you don't like it, then I wouldn't even use it, as that is one of its "features" that makes it better than say Hotmail.


As for its speed, I find it the fastest webmail I have used, except for a handful of days when it was down. But that is to be expected in the beta stage.
