GMail POP3 password failure

Hey,
I recently got myself a gmail account and have been attempting to get their POP3 working on my machine in Outlook Express and Thunderbird. I went through their online configuration page a few times and know all those settings are correct. The password is also correct, as I can log in via the web interface fine. And I know that I do have the POP setting enabled in the settings tab through the web interface.

Any ideas? Thanks.
