So today I went to go sign into gmail, but instead of typing in my name email addy i typed in "gmail.com" and pressed enter. When the page reloaded though, it was different than normal. Normally it'll just say "user name and password didn't match" or something similar, but this time it said that, but then it had a little authentification thing on there too. Like when you sign up for an online account somewhere and you have to type in what the picture says. Has anyone else ever seen this, or have that happen with other usernames? I tried google.com, but I didn't get anything different.

Just thought it was kind of odd.

yes, I have. If you typed in your password wrong so many times, it will come up and ask you to put the "word" in the box for extra authentication

That's a cool feature..so you have have a script try to brute force it's way into the email account.
