gmail is down

In the OPs favor, I did get one server is busy try back in a few moments error when I was working on my calendar and trying to label some new mail. That was about an hour ago though.

Gmail has been down for more that 10hrs straight once before. It happens. But that doesn't mean it is down for everyone.

Just because they have a problem with their balancers doesn't mean it isn't a problem.

even though Gmail has been out for what, 2 years?, it's still beta. sometimes they need to fix things, Gmail has never been down for me. sometime certain servers are effected. and OP, i know it's difficult, but anyone can survive 15 minutes without gmail. give it a rest.
