Gmail invite problem

I sent out an invitation, only to find a page which said 'account has already been created'.. so.. I sent another one, same person (and my LAST invite) and same f'n problem..

so I sent an email to google help, but can anyone here suggest whats going on?

how hard can it be? send invite, click link.. reg info..


well after the click link, it gets an 'account already used' page. its fairly idiot proof.. and its not like I'm dense with computers..

I had the same thing happen. Six invites wasted. Something is getting screwed up when you click on the link to start teh account setup. Haven't found a way to fix it yet.

I'm having the same problem. It locks up everytime I click on invite a friend.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Only I was on the receiving end of the invitation. Three invites and three error messages saying "Account has already been created".

Same thing happened to me. I sent an invitation to someone who got the "Account has already been created" error. I think it was stolen.

No big deal, since my Gmail account still says I have 6 invitations left.

Yeah, that happened to a few of mine the other day. It's different from the one that says someone already created XX@gmail.com already. Strangely, one that didn't work the day before, started working the next day.
