GMail having issues?

Has anyone else experienced a problem receiving their GMail when it's sent from outside of the service? I've been waiting for an email for over a half an hour now. I then sent myself some emails to my GMail that haven't yet arrived (sent 10+ minutes ago). Internal GMail emails, of course, arrive instantly.

Sounds kind of crazy that I'm waiting for an email so intensively to have noticed this, but I'm a web-geek. :D Besides, I could be missing out on important (unexpected) correspondence.

Hmm... is there any place besides good old ATOT to report this, or a place to check server status?

Where are you, email!? :Q

I emailed support, but they sent me back canned messages. Guess they don't want to admit/care that their servers are delayed. C'est la vie...

Having the problem here too. Try to connect to gmail.com port 25 and it sits indefinitely.

This is a repost? As in a repost of the topic that was posted 28 minutes after this one?

What's so great about your post saying how ignorant I am for not noticing that this was (supposedly) posted before is that you're too ignorant and "repost-happy" to see that my post was 28 minutes BEFORE your beloved "reference post."

Hmm... instead of "REPOST," it feels pretty good to say "Read the SECOND post in the other thread, genius."

edit: Thanks, frodrick, you beat me to it. In shilala's 1512 more posts than yours, s/he never learned how to tell time.

I sent an email to a student this afternoon and I received a not delivered yet but still trying email. Apparently they are having trouble with their mail receiving.

Actually, I just got one at 11:30pm which was sent at 8:38pm. The test emails I sent myself are nowhere to be seen.

Actually, I just sent received a Yahoo email. Sent at 9:06pm, received at 11:53pm.

I was considering moving to GMail as my primary address. Not really so much anymore. :)

I've been using GMail for at least 6 months now, and in that time I've had, no problems. I dont seem to be having the same delay you guy are having.

But your saying that because of one problem your going to scrap your plans to switch primaries?

That seems a little harsh.
