Gmail Error Message...?

"Oops...the system was unable to perform your operation.
Plrease try again in a few second."

GMail has been reporting that error to me for about thirty minutes now. Has anyone ever seen it before? (Moreover, is anyone seeing it now)?

I've been having problems connecting to their outgoing POP server for the past couple days. Our problems could be related. I was able to send an email about 30 minutes ago though...

I see that error when I'm not connected to the LAN, for example, my wireless USB disconnects or cant pick up a signal.

Mine's working fine right now.

i've had issues poping through thunderbird as well...smtp seems fine though

same. i have it hot keyed into my email button on my laptop. a click sends me straight to my inbox.
