Gmail down?

Works like a charm.

Something massive like Gmail is probably never down for longer than few seconds.

My hosted domain doesn't work either.

That's the one thing that sucks about using google hosted domains in a business place. You don't have any control over it, if it goes down you are basically just waiting on google to fix it.

The last school district I worked for insisted that they go to a google education hosted domain because the email service was free. Within the first 2 months there was an outage and everyone was freaking out because we had no direct support contact, just the forums. Eventually we got in contact with someone on the phone who didn't have an eta.

It was only down for about an hour, but it was a tense hour not knowing how long the outage would be. They are really reliable though, so I'm sure it's not an issue. I just thought it was funny at the time since people were calling the network admin and there wasn't anything he could do.

Luckily this is my personal domain, so no big deal. Our business would be a mess if this were a business domain. And at $25/user/mo, not exactly cheap.

Though I must say in the, IDK, 8+ years? I've used google apps for my domain, this is the first outage I've seen.

Looks like it's down here. Can't access email, docs, chat, etc. This is on both accounts (personal and work).

We're a Google partner- yes, Google is having issues. If you're already signed in to a Google service, don't sign out or you won't be able to get back in.

Their status window isn't up to date (wonder if they can't get in to change it 😀 )

EDIT- Email accounts are now getting booted. They have some serious issues going on. I think it's mostly affecting Business and Drive accounts. Mobile mail seems to still be working.

My personal account works just fine but my hosted domain is down as well. As Wyndru mentioned and I agree it's quite annoying not being able to guesstimate the eta.

Looks like I can send/receive fine through Thunderbird, but GChat/Drive is still broken. Calendar works fine.

My wife couldn't get in on my hosted domain this morning, however I was sitting right across the table from her and I was able to get in just fine.

Ironically, her at work, I don't appear to be able to get in to certain services on certain accounts.

My 2-step Auth Application Specific Passwords were not working at all for about 2 hours this morning. Looks like it's cleared up for me at this point...
