GM sales down 16% compared to last may

Only going to get worse. 🙁

I blame the Unions.. They destroyed our industial workforce.. Now we only produce crap.

I blame the executives. They're in charge and decide to produce the crap that is GM. The Union workers only build what they are told to do.

GM's product quality is actually very good - its just the design that sucks. Like the full-sized 4 door Grand Prix with no rear seat head room - pure idiocy. Not the Union guy's fault - its the engineer who designed it and the idiot in managment who approved the design.

But lets blame the Unions because Republicans say they are bad!

But this could be good news for rebate season. The family needs a GM Rebadge minivan...

Ahhh... the 2007 Ta-ho. A fine example of why GM's sales are down. But its horrible gas mileage is ok when Daddy pays for gas!

Lots of truth going both ways. The executives are trying to cut a couple corners to keep profits up (perhaps because they pay so much to the UAW?) and the Union Workers could actually really care less about the company. The workers and the executives don't like eachother...and that's exactly why I hate Unions...they place a wedge between the two and make the company not work. But you are correct that the poor designs get the go-ahead from the executives...and that does hurt the sales.

Recent JDPower surveys. Personal experience - I've only owned one non-GM vehicle. I actually had more problems with that Toyota than any GM vehicle...
