GM ready to flick the switch on hybrid Silverado truck

huh...very interesting. That's one kickass tailgating vehicle. 😀 (First thing that pops into my head is powering a projector and audio setup somewhere in the middle of a parking lot...😀)

I didn't even think about that. Perfect truck for picnics, beach, etc. 🙂
 
It's cool. But the point of calling it a "hybrid" to me is largley politics. Yes, they are correct that it does *marginally* increase milage, but it would take years to recoupe the 2-3 MPG gains.

What is cool about it though is that it will be a huge hit with contractors at work sites and outdoors people looking to have a mobile and easily charged power source for tools, cooking equipment, lighting, and entertainment.
