Is anyone here inspired to go out to buy a new GM because of this incredibly insipid "Rally Cap" ad?
The only thing remotely good about it is the lack of Howie Long, featured prominently in their other series of stupid ads.

What kind of ad could they create (and actually get to show on American TV during primetime) to make you happy?

I personally think the vast majority of car commercials are annoying and stupid so nothing new for me here

probably one that shows them going out of business, and then the suppliers failing, and then Ford failing, and then the US royally screwed.

Maybe they could get the cast from Mow the Lawn.

So wait, whether or not they go out of business they don't have to repay a cent of the loan?

Well, aren't you a cheery individual...

I could care less about what they show in their ads as long as it sells enough cars to make it so the loan they've been given gets paid back.

I have never been a GM fan because they always made really junkie cars for the mass market. Never liked their styling except some of the 60s and early 70s cars when quality was actually better. I have been to the last few new car shows and spent quite a bit of time at the GM displays. Not because I was actually interested in any of their cars but because I wanted to take the time to see how far they have come in the last few years. I was pleasantly surprised. I think they finally "get it", albeit a little too late. I would actually consider a GM car as a new purchase now...well, I would have until the government decided they knew how to run a car company when they can't even run a country properly.
