I wish i found out and posted earlier. There are some events left but the LA ones are done.

I just came back and had a blast. FREE! FREE! All of their current production cars are available to drive and some of the big selling competitors in each segment.
I wasn't too impressed with the GM midsize but i spent an hour or more flogging the LaCrosse, Regal, Regal Turbo, Acura TL, and Lexus ES350.
At this event, you had to drive (1) GM Car to get stamp to drive the Volt and a (2nd) GM Car to get stamp to drive the Vette and Camaro. At the Vette/Camaro section, there was a nice straight away to floor it and pulls into a nice u turn to throttle out and a mini slalom. We were limited to (3) runs, 2 in a V8 of your choice and a V6. No Manuals .. in the last event, people burnt up the clutches.
Volt was nice but I wouldn't buy it. In the compact segment, Cruze, New Elantra, Civic, and Corolla were available. The Cruze and Elantra were very nice and if i had to pick between the two, probably the Cruze. Very competitive, good build and fun.
