This makes me happy as I would love to see a HP version of the Cruze...maybe Cruze SS that mimic's the amazing things they did with the Cobalt SS...only to a car worth the the effort.

Cheaper than you often would pay for an aftermarket product to get that much power and keep your warranty, not a bad deal at all.

Agreed...they really did a pretty good first attempt with the Solstice. Beautiful car, lots of good intentions, fantastic engine in the case of the GXP....all under a pretty strict budget and timeline.

GM probably needs to take a quick look at the Camaro, it's now some really weak sauce against the '11+ Mustangs. I think the Cruze SS would be worthy as well, the Cobalt is still probably the best single FF performer off the showroom floor in history.

I'm interested to see what kind of torque they will get out of that V8. Is there supposed to be any new tech features on the 5.5 that makes it "superior" to the 6.2?

looks like flexfuel/e85 stuff and DI
