how does a manufacturer that just shed 3 brands expect to maintain market share?

With exceptionally good products.

Also isn't buick pretty big in china? If they can position themselves to be a luxury / top tier brand over there they'll do well if the chinese car market continues to take off.

China beat the US for GM's largest market.

Good luck to them, I'd just not assume flush more tax money down the toilet. Still won't buy their shit products, unless it's a used truck that's already depreciated.

C6 Corvette/Z06
CTS-V (Build a wagon - Please?)

And for the days when I think that my desire for fast cars is going to kill me the GMC Terrain is pretty awesome looking.

Too bad the rest of the car-buying public hasn't caught on to the good stuff they're putting out, enthusiasts alone can't save them.

CTS-V wagon has been confirmed

Keep guzzling that sand thug shit.

Give you a little tip... we don't actually use all that much oil from the ME.... our largest importer is Canada.

I would never buy another GM product after the one I had. If a company burns me, I wont do business with that company again no matter how good their products are. And I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. They have an up hill struggle to get back on their feet and the bankruptcy sure as hell doesn't help either.

Well hell when you get burned on an 82, 88, 95 and a 99 vehicle from them like I did it's time to say fuck off and die whilst I hop in my 95 Corolla that acts like it's never ever going to die. They had 2 DECADES to change my mind and epic failed, that's not on me, that is on THEM.

So, GM is spending lots of our tax dollars to launch new product... Hopefully they do go public next year when they claim, and begin making more profit to repay the loans...

Without jobs who do you and them expect to be able to buy these new models???

Free money from the Government.... that's how.
