Then: Make big ugly gas guzzling beasts that no one wants, give a big bonus to the execs, and get owned by the Japanese.
Now: Make big ugly gas guzzling beasts that no one wants, give a big bonus to the execs, and get owned by the Japanese.

I don't need a commercial to tell me that! :)

Edit: The end of the commerical showed what's wrong with GM... 50 brand names, a million rebadges, and no vision.

The 9-7x is a fvcking joke... they might as well kill SAAB right now. Although I do love my 9-3 rebadge. ;)

Just about every vehicle they showed has a least one rebadge in GM's lineup - most have many more. How many different versions of the Trailborer are there, anyway?

Good response. Have a :cookie:. Unless you are a total fanboi, you know what I'm saying to be true. I wish it weren't, but GM's management sucks.

9-3 rebadge huh... you need to learn wtf a rebadge is.
Trailblazer has 3 versions, the GMC version the Chevy version, Saab and Isuzu if you really want to go there (but it gets a better warranty)

Saab will be stronger than ever in a few years.

you really need to learn wtf a rebadge is though. even NFS4 will say that there werent thant many.

i just went back through it to count for you.
9-7x
Equinox

there ya go. have fun.

sharing the same frame != rebadge, else Ford/DCX/Toyota/Honda would all be SCREWED as well.

So if they just made big ugly gas guzzling beasts in the past, how are they still alive now? I'm sure if they really are the way you describe them, they would have never survived this long.

Its good to have the government in your pocket. Reagan bailed them out in the '80s...

Eh. All I know is now GM sucks. Only a few good vehicles... But hopefully in the future it will be better.
Too bad giant companies always slack off badly and start producing junk. Except companies like IBM, etc.

it's a commercial, not a BBC news report.

come to think of it, GM's past's glorious... same can't be said for the present and future, which is what matters.
