GM & Chrysler Merger?

what will this do to GM stock ?

If I had the $$ to spare, I would be *ALL OVER* Ford and GM stock right about now, particularly GM stock. It's at pretty much an all-time low, and with Chrysler pretty certain to disappear from the table (along with 1.5m/yearly units), GM will be selling like gangbusters in the near future.

GM is more concerned with getting it's hands on Chryslers cash on hand and possibly eliminating a competitor. They might even use some of Chrysler existing tech to replace their's like their minivans and merging Jeep with Hummer.

That sounds by far the most sensible outcome/plan of this thing. Chrysler cars are total trash. Their trucks are not so bad. Minivans are competitive at least. Jeep is a feather in anyone's cap. I'd love a Wrangler with a GM 3.6 in the skin.

I think that this would be great.

GM has no minivans so they get Chrysler's which are competitive.
GM's Hummer brand is falling apart, but Jeep would be a great replacement.
The new Dodge Ram is the best in the segment.

...and the Corvette would get a V10. 🙂

Ooo 🙂

2012 C7-based ZR1, with a Twin-Turbo 8.3L V10 producing 1200hp FTW? 🙂
