This is of course thanks to the buy outs for union employees. Foghorn is correct, get rid of the UAW and you'll see a stronger more profitable GM.

GMs turnaround numbers are based on old numbers. They lost $10 Billion last year, sales are not increasing in fact they are decreasing. Wagner managed to wring out $8 Billion (his number not official) out of GM so far that excludes one of costs like contract buy outs. My bet is they lose about 4 Billion this year excluding one off costs.

Even without the UAW GM is in trouble (btw unions = the suck). Unions are good when employees rights are being trampled on there job shouldn't be take as much of the company as possible.
