Glutamine Supplementation

I'm starting my work-up to get back on supplements after about 6 months of meager gains in the gym (I did not supplement during this time). I generally use Cell Tech and Isopure as my main supplements, but was exploring the idea of adding Glutamine.

Do you have any recommendations for specific Glutmaine products?
How much do you use?
When do you consume it?
How often do you consume it?
Have you found it to be beneficial?

Thanks in advance.

forum.bodybuilding.com has a lot of threads on this and what reading I did on it I decided that it was probably a waste of money. Creatine, of course, is a proven supplement, and few question the merit of whey supplementation and a multi-vit. Others are coming to the consensus that joint supplements such as glucosamine are also of a real benefit.

I've been pumping iron since the mid 80's consistantly and I experimented with Glutamine and found it had absolutely no noticable benefit whatsoever, except I was a little lighter in the wallet.
