Karakorum is located 370 km away from Ulaanbaatar ,its elevation is 1600 meters above sea level. In 13th century, this was the political and cultural center of Mongolia empire even half of the world , but now we can only feel its grandeur from rebuilt picture in the National History Museum in Mongolia . After going through ages and wars, Karakorum now present to us only Erdene ? Zuu Monastery?s 108 white stupas and Monument for remembering the glory age which built by later generation, even though everything glorious has already be gone , the land itself remain its grandeur and serene which people today still could easily spot what the very age has left for this land, like the old Mongolia tradition dictate that mountains and water will never change.

Day 1 Beijing??Ulaanbaatar
We will assemble at Beijing Capital International Airport and take flight CA901 from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar. We will arrive by noon and be escorted to your hotel; we?ll have lunch after checking in.
In the afternoon, we will take a city tour of Ulaanbaatar, we can visit Sukhbaatar Square, National History Museum and Gandan Monastery as you wish.
Major Places and Attractions Introduction:
Sukhbaatar Square ? The square locates in the downtown , it is named after Sukhbaatar ,founder of Mongolia The square features the statue of Sukhbaatar on horseback. The square holds a lot conventions and receptions for foreign leaders by Mongolia government.
National History Museum- its name used to be Revolutionary Museum, current name was adapted since 90?s; the museum has seven different zones where you will see artifacts from Mongolia and Central Asia from the Stone Age to the present.
Gandan Monastery ? locates downtown of Ulaanbaatar, is religious center of Mongolia, it is also the biggest lama temple in Mongolia, in its heyday there was almost 10,000 lamas live here. In here you can observe the relationship between Lamaism and Mongolia people. the Monastery houses the gilded statue of Migjid Janraisig, decorated with jewels. Its height is 26 meters and weights 20 tons.The statue is spectacular and also national treasure of Mongolia.
After dinner, there is a Mongolia style song and dance show. (expenses not covered);
Back to hotel.
DAY2 Ulaanbaatar - Terelj - Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, we set off to Terelj National Park where locates Kent Ridge of Mongolia Plateau, about 80 miles from Ulaanbaatar, the park is open to tourist all the seasons . Here you can view the grand mountains, dense forest, babbling water, not to mention the unique Three Friend Cave, Turtle Back Rock, destinations of such like. You can also visit real Mongolia nomad family to experience their life and their milk product too ; you can also take a ride on the horse back to view the steppe.;
At dinner, you will enjoy Mongolia exclusive food, the rock barbecue.
We will get back to Ulaanbaatar in the afternoon by rent vehicle;
Get back to hotel after dinner.
Day 3 Ulaanbaatar - Karakorum
We will be driven to the ancient Mongolia capital Karakorum which is 380 miles way;
We will see real steppe view and take picnic; we will reach so called the source of Mongolia desert, the Silver Gobi by noon, You can ramble over desert by yourself or riding a horse;
We will arrive the Mongolia ger resort by sunset , experience real Mongolia nomad life; Checking in the resort after we arrive;
Rest at the ger resort after dinner.
DAY4 Karakorum - Ulaanbaatar
We will visit the biggest Mongolia Empire monument in Karakorum, the long last Erdene ? Zuu Monastery and its 108 white stupas;
we will also visit local nomad family;
you can take free tour after lunch;
we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar in the afternoon;
rest at hotel after dinner.
DAY5 Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, we will take a city tour of Ulaanbaatar, we can visit Sukhbaatar Square, Monument Hill of Soviet Union red army as you wish.

Bogd Khan Museum - Built between 1893 and 1903, the Winter Palace of Bogdo Khan was the home of Mongolia?s last king Javzan Damba Hutagt VIII. Situated half way to Zaisan hill to the south of the city center The luxurious building is of Chinese-Tibet style which was used to be the living place of this last religious leader. There exhibit a lot expensive clothes and articles for daily use of the Mongolia nobility ,there also exhibit many gifts which was tributes given by nobilities of neighbor countries .

Free tour after dinner or go back to hotel.
DAY6 Ulaanbaatar - Beijing
We will take rent vehicle to get to Shopping Plaza of Ulaanbaatar and other local stores after breakfast, you can choose whatever souvenirs and commodities you need of Mongolia style; You can take free tour after lunch, and we will get Genghis Khan International Airport this afternoon, and take flight CA902 to return Beijing, finishing our exciting and unforgettable Mongolia trip.
