apparently, they lost to michigan state, 72-68. they had a winning streak of well over 1000 games. oh well

Actually my high school basketball coach, Boyd McCaslin, played on TWO teams that beat the Globetrotters. About 50 years ago. A local newspaper ran an article, and he was thought to be the only person who to beat the Globetrotters twice.

Interestingly enough, he went to Michigan University.

There have been 2 times that I know the globetrotters have lost. Once to the generals.. They made an overtime and they won.

One other was when they played kareem abdul jabarr's team a while back.. His team beat them soundly I think.

One of my friend's father played against the Globetrotters and they almost won but, one of the Globetrotters sank a hook shot from half court as time expired to win the game.
