globalwin hsfs and 80mm fans

Hey all... just a question about that combo in the subject...

Since 60mm to 80mm adapters need screws, I've read that none of those adapters will work on globalwin fans (ie wbk38). someone (forgot where i read it/who posted it), that it was possible to get a panaflo 80mm to fit on a fop38/wbk38 using the existing clips. Can anyone verify this?

you can either just stretch and bend the globalwin fan clips to latch onto the fan's screw holes, or you can use those fan clips to clip a fan grill upside down and screw the fan onto the fan grill that you just clipped onto the heatsink.

Well I'm going to upg my p3/550e@682 (sucky mobo doesn't control vcore) to something AMD based (prolly 1.33/266), and was planning to use either a FOP38 or a WBK38. I just wanted to be prepared in case roomies complain about noise from the 7K Delta.
