Globally-Unique-Identifier Partition Table (GPT)

What reasons are there not to opt for GPT over MBR for non-boot disks, and especially those used exclusively for media? The immediate benefit is redundancy (duplication at beginning and end) and integrity (CRC32 fields), and longer-term just standardizing since required for larger drives.

Some reasons I have found are:

Lose the ability to use non-GPT aware OS tools such as chkdsk from an XP-32 PE?

GUID conflict from cloning by sector (Ghost) but GPT aware OS may generate a new one as necessary?

To really use GPT you need a suitable EFI-based BIOS. So long as you have that, then there's no reason not to use GPT unless you're going to use legacy software.
