Hi,

I currently have the Global Win FOP 32 for Socket A processors, and I use it on my 750MHz T-bird. I'm buying a 1.4GHz T-Bird now, will that have any issues? It's not the best fan out there I know, but I plan on not overclocking whatsoever.

Thanks

it qwill be barely adequate. I have a 1.0 @ 1.3, and with my FOP32-1, it ran around 60C. I got a SK-6 w/ Delta fan, and its almost never above 42 or so.

I recommend an SK-6, or a CAK38, or maybe even a WBK38 for a 1.4. A 32-1 will work, but you might have some problems. Although, if you have really good airflow in the case and keep the ambient temperature down, it should be "OK" .

It's more than adequate. I ran my 1.3 TBird at 1.5 and an FOP-32, with no problems. you'll need good case airflow.

I have a GW WBK68 on my 1.2 GHz. When I had it overclocked, the idle temp once reached 28°C. Load temps were in the 50s.

Still OK at 1.4 Ghz...but over tht...probs!!. But then again, if u have a good case temp...things is looked in a different view like lenjack's setup.

The best thing is try it out. If the temp is above 65C...change the HSF.
