Global Warming LOL

POSSIBLE CAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING

This article states that global warming may be caused by the fact that THE SUN IS GETTING HOTTER!

The enviro whackos will probably blame the sun's increase in temp on car emissions, or factory's, or people using styrofoam coffee cups.

I still don't believe this global warming BS.

You have no idea how small changes in insolation can affect a planet's climate.

because of global warming, I can golf earlier and earlier every year. how can that be a bad thing?

You have no idea how things change ALL the time. We do not have any accurate measurements of past climates.

I used to believe in global warming, but now that I drive a Cadillac, I know it's a complete bunch of bull sh!t. Death to environmentalists and all their commie sympathizers.

Care to explain?

Face it. We don't know sh!t about our planets weather in the big picture.

We've only been keeping detailed records for the last 50 - 75 years. That isn't anywhere near long enough a span to be able to say our weather is "this" with any certainty, especially based on the fact that we know the weather has been drastically different in the(not so distant, in the scheme of things.. 10,000 years) past.

That said... That shouldn't give us free reign to put anything into the atmosphere we wish. There should certainly be rules and regulations, and we should try our best to limit release of substances known to be damaging. It only makes sense.

You are correct... and in addition to that, this "warming" stage hasn't been documented long enough to conclude anything. In the past, the world has gone through it's warm and cold phases. And this is just a phase as well.

When you're looking at a graph of a heart beat, do you say fluctuations are normal just because they are ups and downs as usual? No. You look at the steepness of the graph, and the magnitudes of the peaks and troughs.

Correct. But we don't have a big enough picture to know whether the peaks and troughs are "normal" or not.

this is a valid theory. with the amount of energy output that the sun puts out, if it were to just increase by hundreths of a percent, it'd prbably be enough to kill all life on earth.

No use getting worked up over it.
Cooling-warming.
We don't have enough info to make the call.

Pass me a cold one 😛
