It requires a $139.00 sign up fee that is refundable w/in 30 days if you aren't happy and don't want to continue as a movie/tv extra. Has anyone ever done this and enjoyed it or is it a scam of some type? They pay $100-$300 per day.

you dont pay someone to be an extra in a movie. just google movie extras and the name of the city you're in or near.
