Glide Error:"GlidelnitEnvironment: glide2x.dll expected Voodoo^2,none detected"

My puter locked up playing HL. Had to do hard reboot. Now a Error Box comes up during Windows bootup, "GlidelnitEnvironment: glide2x.dll expected Voodoo^2,none detected". I reloaded V2 drivers and 3dfx miniport patcher, and DirectX 7. But still get the error? OpenGL in SisSandra is fine only 3dfx? and now my 3dfx games will not play?!!

Any help please!

Other people have had this problem...one guy says he attributes it to the "1100" patch for HalfLife. Another person said his only way to fix it was to pull the Voodoo Card out of the slot, clean the contacts on the card, insert it again, etc.
