Not surprised. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts whipping his wang out and telling Obama to suck it on the show; GOP talk shows have degraded to Springer-like levels.

I like how you dismiss abortion as just one of the many issues the Catholic church deals with as if it is on equal footing as say not being able to use contraceptives. Abortion is probably the greatest non-negotiable in the Catholic church that trumps all others combined. Perhaps hypocritical is not the correct word choice because I think most of those people do not actually pretend to be religious, they truly believe. How about misguided.

The Catholic Church is f*cking retarded - standing on larger principles while ignoring the smaller ones. You can't have the grand ideals when the small ones are constantly compromised.

Take for example the goal of reducing suffering: contraceptives, such as condoms, can do just that. People are going to have sex, regardless of what the Church says. Thus, at least if they are provided with condoms, you can keep people from suffering from diseases like AIDS and keep those impoverished from getting pregnant (and stagnating in their poverty). But no, contraceptives are evil and sex is only for procreation, so instead of compromising on the contraception issue, we'll just compromise on the people suffering one

When did we start talking about the president?

When did we start talking about the president?

With Obama's backpedalling on a real issue of racism in the arrest of Gates.

Must have been the first time you listened to him, otherwise would you have been posting something similar to this every single day.

Seems the new Republican way is to scream racism as often as possible. Pretty funny coming from the party who claims to hate it when people play the race card. Apparently only when it works one way.

What a bunch of clowns.

I've been saying this long before the Rev Wright thing blew up in his face. Look at his past, read his books and you will see he harbors very deep seated racists views.

Well, Obama DID assume it was "white" cop who wronged Gate just because he is black. There is a difference between racist and discrimination.
Where did he assume that?

Don't talk out of your ass unless you can back it up.

Glenn Beck ? Projecting...

Glenn Beck has a deep-seated hatred of reality. It' pretty outragoeus even funny for Beck of all people to call anyone a racist. Thank God Obama's mom and grandmother aren't around to hear this! They would be crushed to know that he is a racist against his mother's family. The sad part is, this is going to work. Beck is catering to those "angry white folks" that for whatever reason feel that they have been put upon by the Obama Admin.

So - does the black half of Obama hate whites, or does the white half of Obama hate blacks?. The things you say for ratings. Glenn Beck - "The Gift that keeps on Giving."

Such as a hatred of white middle class America. Siding with a black activist over a police officer without all the facts (that should be enough right there). His wife's "For once I'm proud to be in America". and on and on. ACORN thugs, etc.

So he wanted to be the leader of a country where the majority of citizens are white middle class because he hates them.

Each day you become more of a Nutter.

So because he has white people in positions below him that shows he's not a racist? He seems to be keeping whitey down in his Administration.. Maybe since you say he has all these white people in positions of power he really hates blacks? Which is it?

you gotta be fucking kidding me...

I wish I was.. But racism is no laughing matter. Even worse, Obama orchestrated the bitch slapping (no pun intended) of Hillary to not only keep whitey down, but to keep WHITE WOMEN down. Disgusting.

Wow, so you really believe that stuff? Hilarious - I've heard some ridiculous right wing conspiracy theories here over the last several months, but this one takes the cake.

Every so often (perhaps more often than usual, lately), we have a thread that serves as a handy litmus test of which posters are so far gone in their biases and/or lunacies as to be not worth the time and effort of trying to reason with.

This, it seems, is serving as just such a thread.

He ran on a promise of change. We're just now seeing what that meant and combined with his past it makes perfect sense. I hope I'm wrong, but he keeps proving me right.

ACORN, again? Really?

If those damn minorities would just lift their jackboots off the neck of the white man we wouldn't have any problems......

Obama ran against a white man for president. Thats all rightwingers need to prove that Obama is racist.

Their audience is constricting...

The Becks and Limbaughs have to get crazier and more outlandish and offensive. Their audience is distilling down to the most fanatical, and extreme element. There are enough to garner big rating, but these phonies wallowing in the muck to line their pockets are loosing the casual and curious audience. Their act is old and tired. they can't afford to lose the dependable hard core fans, so they get more offensive and inflammatory. They get too much attention. They feed off of attention.

The big problem is that they could very well be planting some very poisonous seeds in the minds of their most lunatic fans. This rhetoric is inciting the knuckle dragging, white wing - and if it keeps up someone could take a shot at one of the Obamas. And if that happens...

These reactionary Wingnuts need to remember their enthusiasm for what they call "citizen justice" and vigilanteeism - if there is any justice. Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity and other white wing conartists do this on a regular basis. This is what the whole "persecuted white guy" movement is all about. They are the real "community organizers". According to the white wingers, this is what a community organizer does:

What does a community organizer do? What he does not do is organize a community. What he organizes are the resentments and paranoia within a community, directing those feelings against other communities, from whom either benefits or revenge are to be gotten, using whatever rhetoric or tactics will accomplish that purpose.

This is exactly what these Blowhards on TV and radio, that these reactionaries listen to and adore are doing...

Can you ever say anything that isnt asinine, just once? damn, I hope you dont breed.

After the Reverend Wright fiasco and the stupid comment you still have people who thinks hes not at least a little racist????

I am white and could care less if someones white black brown or wtf ever but the double standard that exists today is ridiculous.

Just like when he began appointing his cabinet at the beginning of the year the Congressional Black Caucus or whatever it is called was crying around about him not appointing enough blacks.....

Just imagine if the "association of white men" protested that Bush didn't appoint enough whites???

Omg
