Given that the problem with the song isn't just the awful vocal talent of its original artist, just because some peppy teens from TV sing it does not mean it will magically become a fantastic song 😛.
 
The main problem with the song is that the lyrics sound like they were written by a retarded 13-year-old girl. Oh wait, they were. "Durr which seat should I take?" "Hurr, yesterday was Thursday, today is Friday, then tomorrow is Saturday, and then Sunday is after that! I figured out how days of the week work!"

The other problem is that PEOPLE KEEP GIVING HER FUCKING ATTENTION. STOP IT.

Rebecca Black did not write that song. The production company had two song choices and the other song was about love/sex. She felt she couldn't identify with it so she chose the Friday song.

well maybe they should have let her write it because it probably would have had better lyrics if she did

oh and my main problem isn't with Rebecca Black herself, it's that people like this shit. they're the reason that things like this become popular.

If people weren't buying Snooki's book, she wouldn't have written it. Just another example of morons latching onto the most retarded things. I don't know why. Do they like the song because it's "so bad it's good"? I don't understand.
