is there such a thing ?

glasses that help reduce eye stress, glare and protect you ??

and i mean for people who stare at a computer 10 hours a day or so.

If so, what do you use? and how do you like em?

Those people who wear prescription glasses can have anti glare and anti reflective coatings put onto the lenses, this helps significantly in pretty much all everyday activities not just computer use.

I have found that using very slightly tinted glasses helps when using a computer for long periods of time, but for many people this is unlikely to help, as it reduces the visibilty and contrast of the screen.

I use something called Cryzal Elise or something like that. It really helps with looking @ lights (like an LCD monitor). That said, if you have to use a CRT use very high refresh rates of at least 85. LCD, make sure to turn the brightness down a lot.

Yeah, my eyes get red often, I need something to help... I'll ask my eye doc as I have an appointment in two weeks.

DO NOT buy perscrpition glasses with "anti glare" coating on them unelss you get the good stuff...the crappy stuff scratches so easily it will trash your glasses in a couple of months. Cryzal and Cryzal Elise are both fantastic. I prefer the Elise, it is a little more expensive, but smudge resistant, which means less cleaning, which means less scratching.
